Read below to find out our terms and conditions of Theatrics classes.

Contact Information

A consent form will be sent home within the first three weeks of your child’s enrolment in class. This must be returned with all relevant information: child’s name and date of birth, your contact email, phone number, photography consent, medical notes and allergies.

It is your responsibility to fill this out correctly. This is incredibly important in the event of an emergency, so we can contact the parent/guardian of the child as soon as possible.

We will only contact you using the information provided on the note regarding Speech and Drama lessons. Your information will not be used in any other way, unless the law requires this.

Once your information has been given, it will be held for an appropriate length of time at our discretion. If your contact information changes, you must make us aware of this. If your child stops attending classes and you wish for your contact information to be destroyed immediately, please let us know.

In the event of an emergency where we cannot reach you and your child requires medical treatment, we will give consent on your behalf if the delay of this treatment may affect your child’s health, in the opinion of a medical professional.

Money

If your child has never been to a Theatrics drama class before, you may contact to ask about a one-off payment. Aside from this exception, by enrolling your child in Theatrics lessons, you are committing to a full term.

The term is paid in full via BACS or cash. An invoice or payment link for the term – including the details of payment – will be provided at the start of term. Payment is required before half-term. If fees have not been paid, a reminder will be sent. If this is still not paid, your child will be asked to not continue in class.

Unfortunately, we do not offer any refunds once payment has been made for the term. In exceptional circumstances, or where the teacher cancels class, payment can be carried over for lessons in the next term.

Class

In the event of a full class (see our adult/child ratios protection policy here) your child’s name will be put on a waiting list. Once there is space in the class, you will be contacted.

At an end of term, class may be a Speech and Drama party. Snacks will be provided. You will be contacted by text or email about this in advance. It is your responsibility to contact us and let us know if you are not happy for this, or to pass on any dietary requirements.

Collection after class

Please ensure you are on time to collect your child.

Please let us know in advance if:

  • someone else is collecting your child after class

  • your child is going to another after-school event/in-school childcare after our class

Other

We are not liable for any injury during class or loss of personal property during class, unless caused by negligence.
